Control Gauges Installation Guide

  • Place 3M Clear Silicone (not-included) on the back side of the Gauges using toothpick.
  • Set the gauges in place and use Painter’s Tape to hold gauges in place for several hours until the silicone is dry.
  • Remove/wipe off any excess silicone before drying.
  • We recommend using clear silicone, this way if you decide to remove the gauges the silicone will scrape off as opposed to using double-sided tape which will leave a glue residue.

 

Door Pin and Bezel Installation Instructions

  • Remove O.E.M. Door Pin by rolling down your window and using pliers; simply unscrew Plastic Pin which is threaded.
  • Remove the O.E.M. Plastic Bezel by using a flat-head screw driver and pulling out O.E.M. Plastic Bezel. This can usually be completed quite easily by using your fingers but is much easier with screw-driver.
  • Set the Billet Custom Bezel in place and push down over the O.E.M. Threaded Rod until in place.
  • Set the Billet Custom Pin on the O.E.M. Threaded Rod and screw until tight.

 

Interior Knob and Cup Holder Installation Guide

  • All billet interior accessories fit tightly over existing O.E.M. equipment.
  • As an added measure a very small amount of silicone can be applied to the inside of the billet knob cover/cup holder to better secure it. We recommend using clear silicone, it holds stronger and if you decide to remove the accessories the silicone will scrape off as opposed to using double-sided tape which will leave a glue residue.

 

Door Kick Plate Installation Guide

  • Place 3M Clear Silicone (not-included) on the back side of the Kick Plate.
  • Place the Kick Plate in position and use Painter’s Tape to hold Kick Plate in securely. Allow 4-5 hours for silicone to dry. We recommend using clear silicone it holds stronger and in case you decide to remove the Kick Plates, the silicone will scrape off as opposed to using double-sided tape which will leave a glue residue.

 

Trunk Hood Plate Inserts Instructions

  • Place 3M Clear Silicone (not-included) on the back side of the Billet Custom Inserts.
  • Set the Billet Custom Inserts into place and use Painter’s Tape to hold them in securely. Be sure to use 3M Painter’s Tape as it does not scratch or leave a glue residue on the product.
  • Ensure you let these sit with the tape in place until dry. We recommend using clear silicone, it holds stronger and if you decide to remove the Trunk Inserts, the silicone will scrape off as opposed to using double-sided tape which will leave a glue residue.

 

Trunk Latch Panel Installation Guide

  • Place 3M Clear Silicone (not-included) on the back side of the Billet Custom Trunk Latch Panel.
  • Set the Billet Custom Trunk Latch Panel in place and use Painter’s Tape to hold it in securely. We recommend using clear silicone, as it holds stronger an if you decide to remove the Billet Custom Trunk Latch Panel, the silicone will scrape off as opposed using to double-sided tape which will leave a glue residue.

 

Underhood Bowtie Installation Guide

  • Place 3M Clear Silicone (not-included) on the back side of the Bowtie.
  • Set the Bowtie in place and use Painter’s Tape to hold Bowtie in securely.
  • Place a towel on top of the engine cover so there will be something pushing against the Bowtie when closing hood.
  • Close the hood and let it rest on the towel so that there is pressure against the Bowtie. Let it dry for several hours. *DO NOT CLOSE THE HOOD COMPLETELY* Just rest it against the towel so that there is pressure. We recommend using clear silicone, it holds stronger and if you decide to remove the Bowtie, the silicone will scrape off as opposed to using double-sided tape which will leave a glue residue.

 

Underhood Caps and Cover Installation Guide

  • All billet Underhood accessories fit tightly over existing O.E.M. equipment except for the Windshield Washer Fluid Cap. This cap replaces the plastic O.E.M. Cap (NO SILICONE).
  • As an added measure a very small amount of silicone can be applied to the inside of the billet Caps and Covers to prevent vibration. We recommend using clear silicone, it holds stronger and if you decide to remove any accessories, the silicone will scrape off as opposed to using double-sided tape which will leave a glue residue.
